DNS Leak Test
Instantly check which DNS resolvers actually handle your queries. This tool runs a self-hosted authoritative DNS server that captures the real resolver IP making the request, instead of just showing your exit IP.
Triggering DNS lookups and capturing the real resolvers…
In self-hosted mode, your browser sends requests to a few random subdomains, and our authoritative DNS server logs the real resolver IP that made the lookup (could be your VPN's built-in DNS, a public resolver, or your local ISP). No browsing history is recorded, and results expire in 5 minutes.
Even with a VPN on, your OS or browser can still send DNS lookups straight to your local ISP's DNS server instead of through the VPN tunnel. That means your ISP can still see which sites you visit — that's a DNS leak.
